Learn about teenage drug abuse at free event

Every day 2,500 teenagers use a prescription drug to get high for the first time. Learn what motivates teens to engage in prescription drug abuse at the Prescription Drug Abuse: America’s New Greatest Drug Problem free event.

The event is set for Wednesday, Feb. 6 at 6:30 p.m. at Cherry Hill Town Hall’s Amato Council Chambers, Room 208, 820 Mercer St.

The pharmacist will give you tips to help you talk to your children and recognize the signs.

This discussion is hosted by William J. Lynch Jr., Kennedy University Hospital UMDNJ-SOM Clinical Pharmacist and sponsored by S.C.O.P.E, Kennedy Health System and the Cherry Hill Mayor’s Wellness Campaign.
