Cuyjet, a Jersey native, is currently teaching at Gloucester County College while continuing to study privately as a Water colorist.

The class location will be the St. Bartholomew Episcopal Church on Route 70, Marlton Pike, in Cherry Hill. The classes are not sponsored by the church but are being held in the classroom wing. There is parking and a separate entry.

Classes for the young will be held on Saturdays in 6-week blocks.

Students will use the medium of puppet making to examine cross cultural creativity. The classes are scheduled for 90 minutes at 9:30 and 11:30 a.m,. and are limited to 10 students.

Classes begin on March 30.

Adults will have a choice of two classes: Beginning Watercolor and Tea with the Masters:

The Watercolor class will explore techniques, drawing, composition color theory and other basics of painting. Classes begin on Tuesday, April 2 and is limited to ten participants. No prior experience is needed. A list of supplies will be provided at the first session.

Tea with the Masters will take students on a smooth historical exploration of using discussion, visual activities and hands on experiences that will familiarize them with the Master Artists that have influenced art today. They will leave with a completed work of their own art. Includes a trip to the Philadelphia Museum of Art and, of course, Tea. Classes begin on Thursday, March 28, 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Limited to 10 students.

For questions call Carol at (609) 605–2714 or email to [email protected].
