Are you interested in volunteering, but don’t know how to get started? Come to the Volunteer Fair at the Cherry Hill Public Library on Sunday, Oct. 5 from 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. in the library’s conference center located on the lower level.
Attendees will have the opportunity to meet volunteers and volunteer managers from a variety of local community organizations that need help. The event, which is presented by The Volunteer Center of South Jersey, is free and open to the public. All ages are welcome.
Students will receive volunteer service credit for attending the fair, bringing a guest, or making a donation for animals in need such as dog or cat food, cat litter, sheets, towels, blankets or toys. Students should visit the library’s sign in table to receive credit.
