On Thursday, Nov. 6 from 7 to 8 p.m., Woodcrest Country Club welcomes local business owner, Bruce A. Apple of Apple Physical Therapy, to present the workshop “The Prevention of Golf and Tennis Injuries.”
Bruce A. Apple is a licensed physical therapist and athletic trainer. He holds a specialized certification in golf fitness and is a sports rehabilitation expert. His extensive experience includes work with the gold-medal winning men’s basketball team at the 19th World Maccabiah Games in Israel in 2013 and as a trainer with track and field athletes at the 1996 Atlanta Summer Olympics.
Apple previously worked as an athletic trainer for the Detroit Tigers organization. He has also assisted with training for the Denver Nuggets, Philadelphia Flyers, Philadelphia Eagles and State Farm U.S. Figure Skating Championships in Philadelphia.
This informative workshop is open to the public. Anyone with a love and passion for either tennis or golf is welcome, in addition to those interested in overall fitness and injury prevention.
