“Tapped: The Movie,” an unflinching examination of the big business of bottled water, will be screened at the Cherry Hill Public Library on Tuesday, June 30, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
The award-winning documentary explores the health and environmental dangers of plastic water bottles with a searing, in-depth look at the toxic chemicals used to make the plastic, the exploration of water sources and the devastating health impact of water bottle consumption. With only 20 percent of bottled beverages actually recycled in the United States, “Tapped” explores the mounds of water bottles garbage the nation consumes.
