Join members of the Rutgers Master Gardener Program of Burlington County for a virtual session at 1:30 p.m. during which they will answer questions about your lawn, garden, starting a garden or seasonal gardening topics. Register online at www.events.moorestownlibrary.org.

Shorebird Scavenger Hunt. This event will be held at the Moorestown Library. Help celebrate Global Shorebirds Day all week by finding pictures of shorebirds throughout the library. Visit the info or youth services desk to pick up your bookmark to fill out. Find all six and win a prize.

STEAM Grab and Go. This event will be held at the Moorestown Library. Stop by Youth Services and pick up a STEAM craft to make in the library or take home.

Baby and Me Meetup. This event will be held at the Moorestown Library at 10 a.m.

Join the Moorestown Library in celebrating World Shorebirds Day by watching the PBS Nature documentary “Flyways.” Popcorn and drinks will be provided. A second screening will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 11, at 6 p.m. Register online at www.events.moorestownlibrary.org.

SATURDAY, Sept. 7

Hora de Cuentos: Bilingual Story Time with Miss Joselyn. This event will be held at the Moorestown Library at 10 a.m. For children ages three and up. Join Miss Joselyn for a morning of stories and songs in Spanish and English.

Kids Chess Club. This event will be held at the Moorestown Library at 10 a.m. Register online at www.events.moorestownlibrary.org.

Shorebirds on the Delaware Bay. This event will be held at the Moorestown Library at 1 p.m. Each spring hundreds of thousands of shorebirds stop in Delaware Bay to refuel for their long migration north. What are these birds? How do horseshoe crabs fuel their migration? Naturalist and photographer Doug Wechsler will answer these questions in an enlightening presentation.
