Middle and high school students will have a full day of classes on Sept. 6, while elementary school students will have early dismissal on the first day and then a full day of classes on Sept. 7.
Summer is quickly winding down for kids across Cherry Hill Township. In just 10 days, the 2016–17 school year will begin for students in Cherry Hill Public Schools.
All schools in the Cherry Hill district will open for the first day of school on Tuesday, Sept. 6. Middle and high school students will have a full day. Elementary school students will have early dismissal at 1 p.m. and will have their first full day of school on Wednesday, Sept. 7.
Students entering high school for the first time will participate in freshman orientation later this week. Cherry Hill East’s freshman orientation will be on Tuesday, Aug. 30 at 5 p.m. Cherry Hill West will have its orientation on Wednesday, Aug. 31 at 9 a.m. Beck Middle School will also have its new student orientation on Thursday, Sept. 1 at 7 p.m. New student orientations for Carusi Middle School and Rosa International Middle School were held earlier in August.
Parents will want to get up to date with everything new regarding their child’s classes this school year. All schools in the Cherry Hill district will host a back to school night in September or October. The full list of back to school nights for each school is below:
