Early Intervention Family Day. Moorestown Library. 10 a.m. Attention all Early Intervention Families. Come meet and connect with other children and families in Early Intervention and celebrate Early Intervention Week. Enjoy a fun story time with stories, rhymes, movement, and songs, followed by some arts and crafts time. FRIDAY, May 17

Bring your lawn chairs and blankets to 207 West Main Street for Trinity Episcopal Church’s Outdoor Movie Night. “Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny” starts at 8 p.m. The free event will be held rain or shine. Those who register in advance (register at www.trinitymoorestown.org) will receive a complimentary popcorn and soda. 

SATURDAY, May 18

STEAM Time. Moorestown Library. 9:30 a.m.

Kids’ Chess Club. Moorestown Library. 10 a.m. For students in third through eighth grade. Register at www.events.moorestownlibrary.org.

Concert: KyoDaiko Drums. 2 p.m. Moorestown Library. The concert includes performance pieces interspersed with mini talks, where the group describes the history of taiko, the different kinds of drums and their costumes. SUNDAY, May 19

STEAM Time. Moorestown Library. 1 p.m.

AAPI Month Craft: Chinese Knotting for Kids and Teens. Moorestown Library. 1:30 p.m. For children ages 10 and up. Learn the art of Chinese knotting with teachers from the Cherry Hill Huaxia Chinese School. Register at www.events.moorestownlibrary.org.

Moorestown Pride Month Festival Meetup. Moorestown Library. 3 p.m. Join members of Moorestown Pride for the Moorestown Pride Festival planning meeting. This event is a volunteer opportunity and a great way to meet members of Moorestown Pride. Members from the organization will be on-site and can offer additional information about Moorestown Pride activities and resources.

Plastic Model Interest Group. Moorestown Library. 3 p.m. The purpose of this group is to provide an interactive and friendly environment where plastic model builders can share in their enjoyment of the hobby. The group welcomes members or participants regardless of whether they build model cars, planes, military vehicles, ships, sci-fi subjects, resin figures or Anime related model kits. International Cinema Night with Michael: La Soledad. Moorestown Library. 6:30 p.m. Participants will enjoy old and contemporary movies from around the world, including but not limited to Europe, South America, Asia, the Middle East and Africa.
