Spring Hills resident shares secret to longevity on her 102nd birthday

Last Friday, Connie Talucci celebrated her 102nd birthday with a celebration at Spring Hills Cherry Hill Assisted Living.

A Cherry Hill resident celebrated a very special birthday last Friday.

Concetta “Connie” Talucci, a resident of Spring Hills Cherry Hill Assisted Living, celebrated her 102nd birthday last Friday, Dec. 16. The celebration included a 1, 0, 2 balloons, cupcakes, lots of decorations and a special birthday tiara for Talucci. Connie was joined by her sister, Epaulda “Pauline” Talucci, who is 99 and also a Spring Hills resident, her nephew, Raymond Talucci and a number of her friends.

Connie said the secret to her longevity is to “never diet, eat everything you see, just don’t overeat.” She also said another secret is she has never been married and she has no children.

Connie was born on Dec. 16, 1914. She has previously worked as a registered nurse and glass blower.
