The first event will focus on school security. It will take place at Vitarelli’s Pizza and Restaurant.
The Cherry Hill Education Association is sponsoring its first Chat and Chew Education Night. The event will take place on Tuesday, Feb. 28, at Vitarelli’s Pizza and Restaurant, 1250 Kings Highway North, in Cherry Hill, beginning at 6 p.m.
The topics of the first discussion will be Cherry Hill Public School Security Procedures. Parents and community members will learn the difference between a lockout, lockdown and shelter in place. Parents can also find out what they should do when their child’s school has implemented a security procedure. Cherry Hill Public Schools Director of Security Tony Saporito and an officer from the Cherry Hill Police Department will be on hand at the event.
A complimentary dinner will follow the meeting. There is limited seating, so an RSVP is required. To register, email [email protected] and include your full name to reserve a seat.
