Blood Drives
The American Red Cross continues to experience an emergency blood shortage as severe winter weather has further impacted the ability to rebuild the blood supply. Blood and platelet donors are urged to give now to help ensure lifesaving medical procedures are not delayed.

Pinelands Garden Club of Medford
The next meeting for the Pinelands Garden Club of Medford meeting will be held on Feb 12 at the Medford Methodist Church, 2 Hartford Road at 9:30 a.m. The program will be “Putting Herbs to Work in Your Garden.” Visitors and new members are welcome.
The meeting on March 11 will feature a Hyacinth Bulb Challenge and also a demonstration of how to make Vanilla Extract.Â

Operation Yellow Ribbon Dine In or Take Out from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. from Feb. 7-8 at Illiano Cucina Mediterranea at Taunton Forge Shopping Center, 200 Tuckerton Rd, Medford. Mention “Yellow Ribbon” when settling up your bill. A percentage of the bill will go towards Operation Yellow Ribbon, a non-profit organization that sends care packages and goodies to troops overseas.
Saturday, Feb. 10
Woodford Cedar Run Wildlife Refuge in Medford is having an upcoming Wildlife Baby Shower from 1-3 p.m. at Medford Methodist Church, 2 Hartford Road. This is a fundraiser and item drive to help prepare its non-profit organization by collecting essential items in preparation for the upcoming arrival of thousands of injured and/or orphaned wild animals.

Medford Township is offering businesses and residents an opportunity to sponsor new banners for Main Street. This project originated with the Woman’s Club of Medford in 2015. Now, after eight years of proudly being displayed, it’s time to replace them. Each banner will include the name of the sponsor and will be attached to the light poles along Main Street.
