No through traffic will be permitted at the intersection beginning Monday night at 9 p.m. for the duration of the project.
Emergency gas main repairs will necessitate a traffic detour on Route 70 at Covered Bridge Road for the next three weeks.
Beginning tonight and lasting approximately three weeks, PSE&G will be making emergency gas main repairs at the intersection of Route 70 and Covered Bridge Road/Frontage Road in Cherry Hill. Work will begin tonight at 9 p.m. and continues 24 hours a day.
Because of the construction, the intersection will be closed to through traffic. Left turns will not be permitted onto Route 70 in either direction. Motorists will still be able to turn right onto the highway.
The construction should not affect traffic flow on Route 70. Two lanes of traffic will remain open in each direction at all times. Motorists are asked to use caution when traveling through the area.
