Medford Township residents headed to the polls Nov. 7

Voters in Medford Township went to the polls on Nov. 7 and elected members of the governing body/board of education.

The Burlington County Clerk’s Office has posted results from the election on its website. All of the election results are unofficial and will remain unofficial until a vote counting process that could take more than a week has been completed.

The totals as of Nov. 8 do not include late mail-in ballots and provisional ballots, which are expected to be tallied later this week.

Medford Township Council

Three candidates, all newcomers, vied for two, three-year seats on township council in the election on Nov. 7. No petition was filed for the second Democratic seat available during the June primary.

As of Nov. 8, Republican candidates Bethany J. Milk and Michael A. Czyzyk lead for the two seats with 3,815 votes and 3,675 votes, respectively.

Democratic candidate Raymond W. Coxe has received 3,437 votes. There are 133 personal choice votes.

Medford Township Board of Education

Four candidates, including three incumbents, vied for the three, three-year board of education seats in the Nov. 7 election.

As of Nov. 8, Trudy Cole, who has served 30-plus years on the board, Katherine Santamore, who has served 10 terms, and Angela Zografos, who has served on the board since 2021, are in the lead for the three seats with 3,949 votes, 3,819 votes and 3,161 votes, respectively.

Candidate Alexa Folsom has received 2,983 votes. There are 71 personal choice votes.

Current board members Kenyette Jones and Peyton Ebbeson ran for their first elected terms for the two uncontested, one-year unexpired terms on the board. Ebbeson has received 4,426 votes and Jones has received 4,320 votes. There are 76 personal choice votes.

David E. Stow ran for re-election as the Medford Township representative for an uncontested open seat on the Lenape Regional School District Board of Education. He has garnered 4,722 votes. There are 65 personal choice votes.
