The Medford Township Police Department is currently accepting applications for the position of police officer from persons with no prior police training or experience, persons possession a valid police officer certification from the New Jersey Police Training Commission or currently enrolled in a certified police academy, and persons possession Police SLEO II waiver eligible certifications.

Interested persons should complete the Department Law Enforcement Diversity Applicant Entry by Sept. 1. For more information visit www.medford-police.org.

Cars, Coffee ad Cops with Medford Police from 9 a.m. to noon Sept. 10 at Roast Coffee Company, The Village at Taunton Forge, 200 Tuckerton Road, Medford. All vehicles welcome. Deadline for registration is Sept. 7. Rain date is Sept. 17. Follow department’s Facebook page for updates.

Friday and Saturday, Sept. 15-16

The Medford Business Association (MBA) announces that the annual Medford Oktoberfest and Music Festival will be held on Friday Sept. 15 from 5-9 p.m. and Saturday Sept. 16 from 1-9 p.m. at Medford Freedom Park, 86 Union Street, Medford. Considered “Medford’s Biggest Party of the Year,” the event is organized and promoted by the Medford Business Association, with Shop Rite of Medford as its Presenting Sponsor. Parking and admission are free, and the event is open to all ages.

Providence House is looking for eager and compassionate volunteers to continue the Medford Township Police Department’s partnership to end Domestic Violence.
