Learn how to safely interact with a dog and how to prevent a bite through a story on Friday, Nov. 11 at 1 p.m. at Croft Farm Art Center, 100 Bortons Mill Road. The event is free and open to the public. The program is presented by Cherry Hill Township, Cherry Hill Police Department and Nemours Children’s Health. Community members can meet their local police and its K9 unit.

The program is part of a three-part series. In January, there will be a Bike Safety program where kids can learn about bicycle and helmet safety and in April, the series will conclude with a program on playground safety.

Though it is geared towards ages 4 to 7, all are welcome. Register for the event at bit.ly/3CQJYkp.
