On April 6 at 3:12 p.m. Moorestown officers were dispatched to the parking lot of the East Gate Square Shopping Center, 1331 Nixon Drive, Moorestown, regarding an armed carjacking. Officers learned that the victim, a 25-year-old male, was confronted at his car by a masked male who displayed a handgun.
The male suspect took the victim’s cell phone and wallet. A second masked male entered the driver’s seat of the victim’s car. Both men fled in the victim’s car. The victim was not physically injured.
Moorestown police are looking for the victim’s 2019 black Dodge Challenger, New Jersey registration P11MDP. If you see this vehicle, please call 911. Do not approach the vehicle or occupants.
Update:
On April 7 at about 9:30 a.m. the victim’s carjacked 2019 black Dodge Challenger, New Jersey registration P11MDP, was recovered unoccupied in the unit block of S. Salford Street in Philadelphia. Â
