Adelle Walton, formerly of Haddonfield, died July 18 at the age of 99
Adelle Walton (nee Loft) of Galloway, formerly of Haddonfield, died July 18 at the age of 99. She was the beloved wife of the late John H., loving mother of Bonnie Walton-Miller (Ralph) and John H. Jr., dear grandmother of Jonathan, Holly, Joshua, Jessica, Christie and Sean, and cherished great grandmother of Taylor, Anthony and Christopher.
Walton had been a teacher for many years in the Collingswood School District.
She was also a longtime member of the First Baptist Church of Collingswood, Haddonfield United Methodist Church (HUMC), as well as being involved at the Beacon Evangelical Free Church of Galloway.
Walton’s family will receive friends on Monday, July 23, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Kain-Murphy Funeral Services, 15 West End Ave., in Haddonfield and on Tuesday, July 24, from 10 to 10:45 a.m., in the sanctuary of the Haddonfield United Methodist Church, located 29 Warwick Rd., Haddonfield; where her service will follow at 11 a.m. Interment will take place at Haddonfield Baptist Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in honor of Walton may be made to the HUMC, at the above address, the Beacon Evangelical Free Church of Galloway, 420 6th Ave., Galloway, NJ 08205 or the First Baptist Church of Collingswood, 23 Frazer Ave., Collingswood, NJ 08108.
