Do you want a career in the healthcare industry but cannot afford the training?
Rowan College at Burlington County (RCBC) recently announced its grant-funded training for Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) through the US Department of Labor.
The grant will provide the training to become a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) while on the job and getting paid. RCBC will connect you with the employers hiring into this occupation.
In order to be eligible to participate, candidates must meet the following eligibility requirements:
- Must be employed for at least 15 days with a good work record – verified by the employer. Rowan College at Burlington County will facilitate the connections to employers hiring CNAs.
- Must be physically capable of performing essential functions of the job – verified by employer
- High school diploma or GED
- 18 years old
- New Jersey resident
- On the Job evaluations must be satisfactory
The program participants will be paid while completing the On the Job training. Participants must sit for the CNA National Health Career Association (NHA) credentialing exam.
