The Diocese of Camden offers the Garden Permit Program at all of our cemetery locations. The program begins around March 21, and ends around Oct. 1. Families are asked to sign up early but are encouraged to sign up by May 15, so that they can take full advantage of the planting and growing season.

The Garden Permit Program allows for the annual planting of flowers in front of monument and slant markers giving family members the ability to care for the final resting place of their loved one. Families must complete a Garden Permit Application and pay a $35 fee.

These applications are available on our website, https://1ab3242f14.nxcli.net/wp-content/uploads/2020/08/Garden_Permit_Application_2019_Program_Year.pdf

Also, applications are available at the cemetery offices.  Completed applications along with the fee should be mailed to the cemetery office where their loved one is buried.

Once the application along with the fee is received at the cemetery office, a border is installed by cemetery field workers. Customers are permitted to plant annuals and place objects within the boundary of the border installed.  The border may NOT be moved or replaced by anyone other than the cemetery staff.

The cemetery takes NO responsibility for objects and plantings that are removed or affected by visitors to the cemetery. Families are encouraged to refrain from placing objects of value or that cannot be easily replaced.

Visit: https://southjerseycatholiccemeteries.org/locations/ for a complete listing of cemetery locations.
