Local businesses supporting Operation Yellow Ribbon

Special to The Sun

Operation Yellow Ribbon is thankful for two South Jersey small businesses. The Honey Post in Medford Lakes and Bakanas Flowers & Gifts in Marlton recently announced support of Operation Yellow Ribbon.

On Small Business Saturday, Nov. 28, The Honey Post will host a social distancing scavenger hunt fundraiser. There will be first, second and third place winners with multiple prizes from participating businesses. More information about the scavenger hunt will be provided after registration. For questions, contact Eileen or Christine by emailing [email protected], or register online here. The $20 cost will support Operation Yellow Ribbon.

Bakanas Flowers & Gifts is donating $10 to Operation Yellow Ribbon via its “Season of Giving” promotion for every person that comes to the store and takes a picture or selfie of a favorite holiday item or holiday-themed display and posts it to social media by tagging @bakanasflowers and with the tags #OYR and #BakanasFlowers.

Operation Yellow Ribbon thanks The Honey Post, Bakanas Flowers & Gifts and all of the amazing local businesses and corporate sponsors that support the nonprofit throughout the year.
