Annual Free Rabies Clinic this weekend

Free rabies vaccination to take place at Lions Lake Community Center

Voorhees Township is hosting its Annual Free Rabies Clinic Saturday, Sept. 12 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Lion’s Lake Community Center located at 101 Dutchtown Road in Voorhees.

All residents must wear face coverings and maintain social distancing. All employees will also be wearing face coverings and other protective measures will be in place.

The rabies vaccination is free. If you are renewing your license or getting a license for the first time, the fees are $12.00 for a neutered/spayed pet and $15.00 for a non-neutered/non-spayed pet. The license will still expire on Dec. 31 and is not retroactive.

Residents will have until May 10 of next year to renew their license for 2021. This event will only accept cash or checks, no cards.

The township asks that those attending line up at the door upon arrival. Only 15 residents at a time will be permitted in the building and as residents leave, more will be permitted in.

If you have any questions, call the Township Clerk’s office at 856-429-7757.
