Gloucester County cancels events through April 30

A list of cancelled events was released by the county earlier this week

Gloucester County announced the cancellation of more events in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.

These cancellations were made under the guidance from the Centers of Disease Control (CDC) on large gatherings and social distancing which will help flatten the curve and stop the spread of COVID-19.

The following events April 16 to April 30 have been cancelled:

  • All Gloucester County library events
  • Bird Watch, April 16 at Scotland Run Park, will be re-scheduled.
  • Grandparent Caregiver Support Group, April 17 at the Budd Boulevard Building in West Deptford, will be re-scheduled.
  • Autism Awareness Fossil Dig, April 18 at Edelman Fossil Park in Sewell, will be re-scheduled
  • Mental Health Players on Suicide and Addiction Prevention, April 21 at Auletto’s Caterers in Deptford, will be re-scheduled.
  • Gloucester County certified gardener training, April 22 at the Government Services Building in Clayton, will be re-scheduled.
  • Volunteer Appreciation Dinner, April 23 at Shady Lane Complex in Clarksboro.
  • Spring Fest, April 25 at Red Bank Battlefield, will be re-scheduled.
  • Earth Day Clean Up, April 25 at Dream Park in Swedesboro.
  • Household Special Waste Collection Day, April 25 at the Solid Waste Complex in Swedesboro, will be re-scheduled.
  • Earth Day celebration, April 26 at Scotland Run Park in Clayton
  • Gloucester County certified gardener training, April 29 at the Government Services Building in Clayton, will be re-scheduled.
  • Tourism Media Tour with Visit South Jersey, April 30.

New dates for events that will be re-scheduled will be communicated at a later time.
