A little after 4 a.m., Tabernacle Fire Company was dispatched with mutual aid companies to a dwelling at an apartment above a strip mall on Rte. 206.
Chief 4300 arrived four minutes after dispatch to a report of heavy fire from the rear of the building with extension into the structure. Chief 3700 arrived to run operations followed closely by Quint 4314 and Tender 4316. While Tabernacle Fire worked the rear of the structure, mutual aid companies began arriving to assist in the front of the building.
A single resource from other companies from across the county responded to assist on the second alarm, and on special call for ladders and water tenders as well, as crews to cover the area while companies were working on scene.
Thanks to all those companies who assisted us this morning. We appreciate all of your work.
Your strong work in the early hours of the morning prevented any additional loss of property after the fire company arrived. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and those who have had their business disrupted.
