The Mt. Laurel Garden Club will be awarding scholarship money in the amount of at least $1,000 to Mt. Laurel residents who will be graduating high school in 2020.
All qualified students are invited to apply by visiting mtlaurelgardenclub.com to fill out the scholarship application, compiling the requisite materials, and composing a 200- to 400-word typed essay describing your planned field of study, why you are interested in pursuing it and your long-term career plans.
The applicant’s high school must submit a transcript of the student’s grades, including class ranking and a letter of recommendation from a high school teacher, guidance counselor or principal. If any of the above information is not submitted as required, the application cannot be processed. Applicants should submit completed forms to the high school guidance department so other required documents can be attached before mailing.
