The fifth annual Basket Extravaganza will be held at Epworth United Methodist Church located at 5th and Morgan Ave in Palmyra and will be held over several days, so you may choose whatever day and time works for you. Walk through the maze and bid on over 40 baskets! Each is valued at least $50 and up. Past baskets have included a designer handbag, a multi-pot cooker, a shore vacation getaway, jewelry, children’s toys, gourmet food basket, pet baskets and so much more. The proceeds of this fundraiser go to a variety of local and global organizations and missions.

Blood Drive
The American Red Cross continues to amplify the ongoing critical need for blood and platelets to keep the blood supply stable as fall begins. Donors of all blood types, especially those with type O blood, those giving platelets and those who have never given before, are needed now.

Flu Clinic will be held from 10 a.m. to noon at the Palmyra Community Center, 30 West Broad St. The Burlington County Health Department will be administering the free flu shots. Walk ins are welcome, no appointment necessary.
Riverfront Seniors
Riverfront Seniors, formerly Palmyra Seniors, is a non-profit, non-partisan organization for persons 55 years or over who reside in Burlington County and surrounding areas. Members from area towns meet at the Palmyra Community Center each month September to June. Meetings are held on the first and third Wednesdays. Doors open to the members at 9 a.m., the meeting starts at 10 a.m., and at 11 a.m., the program is presented. On first and third Fridays, members can enjoy Bingo, lunch and a movie at the community center. Anyone may attend one meeting free to meet everyone. Palmyra War Memorial Committee
The Palmyra War Memorial Committee meets four times a year and holds its annual Memorial Day observance. They also do cleanups at the memorial at least two times a year.

Seniors Lunch
The monthly seniors lunch event is held every third Tuesday at the Christ Episcopal Church Parish House, 4th and Howard St., Riverton. All are invited for the free lunch and can bring a friend. A chair lift is available. If you need a ride or know someone who does call SEN HAN Transportation at (877) 603-5111 to register. For more information visit christriverton.org. The lunch is free of charge, but donations are welcome.
Palmyra Harbour
There will be a trip to American Music Theatre for the Christmas show “Joy To The World” in Lancaster, Pa. on Dec. 12. Lunch will be at Miller’s. Bus will leave from Palmyra Harbour parking lot at 10 a.m. If interested, call (856) 786-0358.

To reserve your personalized brick paver please print and complete this FORM and return it to Palmyra Borough Hall, 20 W. Broad St., along with a check made payable to the Borough of Palmyra in the amount of $50 per each brick paver requested. Forms are also available at Borough Hall. Engravings will be ordered once payment is received. Proceeds benefit the Borough’s Recreation Trust Fund, which is used for projects and staffing for recreational activities.
