The Medford Business Association will hold its annual Medford Oktoberfest and Music Festival Friday, Sept. 20 from 5-9 p.m. and Saturday, Sept. 21 from 1-9 p.m. at Freedom Park, 86 Union St. Considered “Medford’s Biggest Party of the Year,” the event is co-presented by Zallie Family Markets and King’s Road Brewing Company. Parking and admission are free, and the event is open to all ages.

The Medford Township Police Department H.A.P.P.Y. program, which is Helmets and Police Protecting Youth, brings the community Slices for Safety. The program will seek out general acts of safety and kindness throughout the community. Officers will provide a ticket for a free slice of pizza at Crust N Fire to those who display kindness and wear their bike helmets.

Medford Township is offering businesses and residents an opportunity to sponsor new banners for Main Street. This project originated with the Woman’s Club of Medford in 2015. Now, after eight years of proudly being displayed, it’s time to replace them. Each banner will include the name of the sponsor and will be attached to the light poles along Main Street.
