Shorebird Scavenger Hunt. Celebrate Global Shorebirds Day with the Moorestown Library by finding pictures of shorebirds throughout the library. Visit the info or youth services desk to pick up a bookmark to fill out. Find all six and win a prize.

Game: Let’s Play Mahjong. This event will be held at the Moorestown Library at 1 p.m. Register online at www.events.moorestownlibrary.org.

Visit the Second Street Market for food trucks, live music, storytelling with Moorestown librarians and fun games. This event starts at 5 p.m. and will be held outside on the green across from the library, next to the Rec Center.

Residents are welcome to attend a Silent Book Club at the Moorestown Library at 7 p.m. Before reading, the group will meet for brief conversation.

Moorestown Township’s Sustainable Moorestown Committee meeting will be held in Meeting Room A at West Second Street at 7 p.m. For more information, visit www.moorestown.nj.us.

FRIDAY, Sept. 13

Stop by the Moorestown Library between 9:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. to pick up a Spice Grab and Go. This month’s feature is Coriander. Please note, this spice was packaged in a facility with nuts. Please do not use if you have a nut allergy.

Shorebird Week Picnic. Residents are welcome to attend the Moorestown Library patio at 11:30 a.m. to celebrate the end of Shorebird Week. Refreshments, games and party favors will be provided.

SATURDAY, Sept. 14

Kids Chess with Scott Gorman. This event is for students in second grade and up. It will be held at the Moorestown Library at 10 a.m. Register online at www.events.moorestownlibrary.org.

Meet Bindi from Angel on a Leash Therapy Dogs and read her a story at 11 a.m.

Concert: April Mae & the June Bugs. This event will be held at the Moorestown Library at 2 p.m. Blending Americana, jump blues, rockabilly and swing with smoke ‘n honey vocals, washboard, cigar box guitar, banjo, mandolin and upright bass. Register online at www.events.moorestownlibrary.org.

SUNDAY, Sept. 15

The township’s first Fixer Fair will be held at 1:30 p.m. Experts will be available to offer advice and/or repairs in the following areas: knitting help, lighting and lamps, small appliances, small gas engines and more.

MONDAY, Sept. 16

An ESL Conversation Group will be held at the Moorestown Library at 5 p.m. ESL students are invited to enhance their conversation skills. This program will invite general, engaging conversation that will guide the class. Register online at www.events.moorestownlibrary.org.

Visit the Moorestown Library at 6:30 p.m. to meet other anime, cosplay and manga enthusiasts. The group will discuss new anime and manga, work on cosplay costumes or show off cosplay items.

TUESDAY, Sept. 17

Game: Let’s Play Mexican Train Dominoes. This event will be held at the Moorestown Library at 1 p.m. Register online at www.events.moorestownlibrary.org.

On September 14, 1985, the iconic television show “The Golden Girls” premiered. Help the Moorestown Library celebrate the anniversary with a Trivia Night at 6:30 p.m. There will be several rounds of questions and participants will work in teams. There will be themed prizes and mini desserts to honor the girls’ late night kitchen conversations. Register online at www.events.moorestownlibrary.org.

Join members of the Rutgers Master Gardener Program of Burlington County for a special workshop on microgreens at the Moorestown Library at 1:30 p.m. Participants will learn how to grow microgreens and then take home their own to watch grow. Register online at www.events.moorestownlibrary.org.
