The Camden County Board of Commissioners and the Addiction Awareness Task Force are inviting family and friends to remember loved ones who’ve been lost to substance abuse and spread a message of hope to those still fighting addiction.
The vigil takes place on Wednesday, August 28 at 7:30 p.m., at Timber Creek Park in Blackwood.
The keynote speaker is Jayson Williams, who played in the NBA for 11. After facing his own hardships, he founded Rebound Institute, which offers programs and services designed to help individuals rediscover their true selves.
