The Moorestown recreation department will hold soccer clinics and league play for boys and girls in grades pre-K through six starting in September.
Three Lions Academy will also run two clinics during the week – Tuesday or Thursday – for ages 3 to 5. The rec department will also offer a week-long mini-summer camp beginning on Monday.
Pre-K and kindergarten training and scrimmages will be on Saturdays at Wesley Bishop Turf. For first through sixth grades, there will be a weeknight practice and matches will be played on Saturdays at either Wesley Bishop or Jeff Young Parks. The number of participants will determine the size of the leagues and team size will be kept small to ensure maximum individual game time.
