FRIDAY, Aug. 2

The Moorestown Library will host Children’s Harp Music with Kathy Appleton at 10 a.m. This event is for all ages and doesn’t require registration.

The Moorestown Library invites residents to the patio in front of the library to get creative with sand art at 1:30 p.m. This event is sponsored by the Friends of the Library.

SATURDAY, Aug. 3

All are welcome to stop by the Moorestown Library’s Young Adult room and pick up a craft to make at home. While supplies last.

The Moorestown Library will host STEAM Time for children of all ages at 9:30 a.m.

The Moorestown Library will hold Kids Chess with Scott Gorman for students entering third grade and up at 10 a.m. Register online at www.events.moorestownlibrary.org.

The Moorestown Library will host “Imagine a Future of Living in Space: A Short Tour of our Solar System” at 11:30 a.m. This talk covers a sample of destinations in our solar system, including planets, dwarf planets and asteroids. Register online at www.events.moorestownlibrary.org.

The Moorestown Library will hold Baby Time for ages 0-2 at 10 a.m. No registration is required.

The Moorestown Library will hold Toddler Time for ages 2-4 at 10:45 a.m. No registration is required.

Join Debbie Naha-Koretzky, “The Wild Edibles Lady,” for a foraging adventure to discover the edible plants of our area at the Moorestown Library at 1 p.m. This program will include a slide show followed by a foraging/plant ID walk and a wild tea tasting. The Moorestown Library will hold Outdoor Move and Groove for ages two and up at 10 a.m. This event does not require registration.

In partnership with the Monmouth County Library, the Moorestown Library will host “Wednesday Wisdom- On Emotional Well-Being: Live Zoom Program” at 10:30 a.m. on Zoom. This session will focus on emotional wellbeing and participants will learn strategies to effectively cope with life and to create satisfying relationships. The Rotary Club of Moorestown presents the Second Street Market featuring food trucks, live music and beers at 111 West Second St. at 5 p.m.

Visit the Second Street Market from 5-5:30 p.m. for storytelling with Moorestown’s librarians.

Residents are invited to join the Moorestown Library at 7 p.m. for a Silent Book Club. This event does not require registration.
