The second show in our 2024 summer concert series will be Thursday and will feature Parrot Beach, a Jimmy Buffet tribute. On Thursday, Aug. 15, The Beat Tells will entertain with their tribute to the Beatles. All shows start at 7:30 p.m. and will include the Dooney’s Pub beer garden and a variety of food trucks open an hour earlier.

The Voorhees police department will host its annual Night Out on Tuesday, Aug. 6, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Voorhees Town Center. Residents will be able to meet and interact with officers, K-9 units and first responders. Voorhees is once again partnering with Morey’s Piers to offer discounted ride tickets at the latter’s amusement areas on the Boardwalk in Wildwood. Tickets available to residents and non-residents can be obtained in person from the office of the township clerk at (856) 429-7757 and are payable by cash only.
