Local high school students receive Sanderson Memorial Scholarship

Children of two Jefferson Health employees have been named recipients of the annual Sanderson Memorial Scholarship. The scholarships, each $2,500, are awarded based on academic achievements and an interest in pursuing a career in healthcare. The scholarship is in memory of Sarah Sanderson, an original board member of then-Kennedy Health. Sanderson generously bestowed funds to promote the continuation of health education among promising young students.
