Intro to Word: Adult seniors. 2 to 3:30 p.m. at the Evesham Library. Join this class to explore Microsoft Word 2016. Participants will build their word processing and text editing skills and learn the many facets that make Word an essential tool to work with. Free alternatives to Word will also be covered. Thursday, June 13

Tumblin’ Tots: Ages 2 to 5 years. 10:15 to 10:45 a.m. at the Evesham Library. Toddlers and their caregivers are invited to Tumblin’ Tots for a fun and energetic movement class. Registration is required at www.bcls.lib.nj.us.

First Chapter Club for Kids: Ages 8 to 12 years. 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. at the Evesham Library. The First Chapter Club for Kids is a way to learn about a variety of books and books series.  Participants may enjoy snacks and get a sneak peak into a chapter book. This class will do a quick writing activity and play games or do a craft related to the book. This month the class is reading “The Wild Robot” by Peter Brown. Saturday, June 15

Civil War from a Private’s Perspective: Adult Seniors. 2 to 3:30 p.m. at the Evesham Library. Join Civil War lecturer and reenactor Garry Wetstein for a discussion about life as a private in the Union Army. Wetstein will discuss motivations for joining, the enlistment process, camp life and the experiences of battle. A variety of uniforms and equipment will be on hand to show and if time permits, some audience participation may be included. Registration is required at www.bcls.lib.nj.us.

Music Together: Ages 18 months and under. 10 to 10:30 a.m. at the Evesham Library. Young kids learn through play and experimentation and by watching and listening to adults. Setting an example as an enthusiastic participator in music activities is the best thing a parent, grandparent, or caregiver can do to help set a child on the road to a lifelong love of music. Adults don’t need to have music skills – just need a desire to play and have fun with their children. Registration is required at www.bcls.lib.nj.us.

Juneteenth: All residents. 5 to 8 p.m. at The Gibson House Community Center (535 E. Main St.). Join the township to celebrate the nation’s oldest commemoration to the end of slavery.
