Historian Kristal Langford of the Lost Souls Public Memorial Project will discuss the remembrance of Juneteenth at the Cherry Hill library on Tuesday, June 18, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. in the half-conference lower level.
The project is a grass roots organization committed to researching and commemorating the lives and legacy of the local African Americans lost to the domestic slave trade. June 19 commemorates the end of slavery in America.
