The best of the class at Eastern


On May 13, at Camden County College, the Camden County Board of Commissioners honored the incredible senior students from 30 high schools in Camden County as the 2024 best of the class.

From most courageous to best everall, these students have truly excelled in their respective categories. The following Eastern Regional High School students were among the
awards recipients:

Performing arts: Domenic Giampetro
All-Star athlete: Grace Francesconi
Community service: Isabella Ang
Leadership: Sam Winsett
School spirit: Jack Campenella
Most improved: Lauren Madgey
Best overall: Evan Garber Best

The Camden County Board of Elections needs poll workers for the upcoming elections. This year, the board is hiring employees 16 and over at $300 for the day, from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday is the primary election and Tuesday, Nov. 5, is the general election.

The Voorhees Township 2024 Summer Concert Series is back! Come out with your
chairs and blankets and enjoy these great free shows. The first show is on Thursday, June
20, and will feature The Pour Boys 80’s Cover Band. The second show is on Thursday, July
18, featuring Parrot Beach – Jimmy Buffet Tribute. On Thursday, Aug. 15, The Beat Tells
will greet the audience with their traditional Tribute to the Beatles. All shows start at
7:30pm. The shows will be even more enjoyable with Dooney’s Pub’s Beer Garden and a
