Cooper nurse earns professional of year award

Nurse Jeanne M. Greer, a Marlton resident and director of operations for Cooper University Health Care’s Digestive Health Institute (DHI), recently earned the 2024 GI Professional of the Year Award.

The award came from the American Board of Certification for Gastroenterology (GI) Nurses, which provides a certification and re-certification program for registered nurses in GI that promotes their knowledge, skill, and competency.

“We are so proud of Jeanne and her accomplishment, which recognizes her dedication and commitment to the highest standards of GI nursing through leadership, collaboration among colleagues and advocacy of patients,” said Adam B. Elfant, division head of Gastroenterology and Liver Diseases at Cooper’s DHI.

Greer has served in her current role at Cooper for 15 years and has spent more than 30 years in GI nursing.
