May 20 – 2 p.m. – The Open Book Club (in person and virtual).

May 20 – 6:30 p.m. – Books and Broomsticks: Tarot Meet up.

May 21 – 10:30 a.m. – Storytime.

May 22 – 3:30 p.m. – Teen Snak n’ Chat.

Boating Safety Courses

U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary offers Early Spring Boating Safety Courses in Cinnaminson.

It’s not too soon to start preparing for a safe boating season and the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary, Marlton Flotilla, wants you to have the proper credentials as well. Before you shove off this year, make sure you take the boating safety course and earn your New Jersey Boating Safety Certificate. Select the dates and times most convenient for you:

May 16 – 11:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.

All courses will be held at the Cinnaminson Library, 1619 Riverton Road, Cinnaminson.

Boaters should register by contacting Auxiliarist Mark Rubino, (609) 364-0929.

Blood Drives

As May approaches, the American Red Cross reminds eligible donors to keep the blood supply stable by racing to give blood or platelets in the weeks to come. Donors of all blood types – especially type O blood donors and those giving platelets – are crucial to keeping shelves fully stocked with blood products throughout the month.

May 17 – noon to 5 p.m., Covenant Presbyterian Church, 2618 New Albany Road.

May 21 – 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. – Cinnaminson Community Center, 1621 Riverton Road.

Saturday, May 18

Community Yard Sale from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Email your address and a brief description of the items you are selling to [email protected].

Spring Clean Up Day from 8 a.m. to noon, 1601 Union Landing Road. This program is available to residents only and ID is required. For more information contact the Public Works Department at (856) 829-6703.

Sunday, May 19

Cinnaminson Township May Day with food, fun and music will be held from noon to 3 p.m. at Wood Park. Businesses, organizations and teams based in Cinnaminson can start registering for the day.

Paint the Town Pink Car Show supporting Cinnaminson Fire Department’s Paint the Town Pink Fundraising Campaign will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Wood Park, 900 Pomona Road.

Monday, May 20

Cinnaminson Township Committee Regular meeting at 6:30 p.m., 1621 Riverton Road.

Saturday, June 1

Cinnaminson Township Police Department in conjunction with the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection will hold Cops and Bobbers – Hooked on Fishing-Not on Drugs – program from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Steel’s Pond Memorial Park.
