Legacy Treatment: Dogs and Donuts. 4-5 p.m. Moorestown Library. Join Legacy Treatment Center for their Dogs and Donuts event. Watch team members from Legacy receive trained therapy dogs from Crisis Response Canines. During this event, there will be mindfulness activities for the public and donuts. This program is open to all-ages. Trained therapy dogs will be handled by their trainers from Crisis Response Canine for the duration of the event.

Kids Chess with Scott Gorman. 10-11 a.m. Moorestown Library. For students in third grade and up. Join Gorman for lessons in chess rules and strategy, then pair up with an opponent to play a game or two. Register at events.moorestownlibrary.org.

MONDAY, April 1

Grab and Go STEAM – 5 Senses. Moorestown Library. For children of all ages. Stop by Youth Services and pick up a STEAM craft to make in the library or take home. While supplies last. Sponsored by the Friends of the Moorestown Library.

ESL Conversation Group. 5-7 p.m. Moorestown Library. ESL students are invited to enhance their conversation skills. This program will invite general, engaging conversation that will guide the class. Grown-Up Show and Tell. 7-8:30 p.m. Moorestown Library. Share and tell the story behind a beloved item, photograph or even a favorite book. Virtual Q&A with the Master Gardeners. 1:30-2:30 p.m. Join members of the Rutgers Master Gardener Program of Burlington County for a virtual session during which they will answer questions about your lawn, garden, starting a garden or seasonal gardening topics. Flying Heavy: The Story of the C5-A Galaxy Military Aircraft. 6:30-8:30 p.m. Moorestown Library. In this program, attendees will learn about the C5-A Galaxy Military Aircraft, the largest aircraft ever built, including the specifications and history. Presenter Jack Gardner is a retired Air Force Veteran, and former crew member of the C5-A, involved in over 50 missions. Additionally, Gardner is an experienced public educator and successful workshop presenter. Register at events.moorestownlibrary.org.
