Animal Welfare Association–Wags & Wiggles Event, grown-up-and-me style class for children ages 2 to 4. Program will teach all little animal lovers about animal safety, kindness and compassion. New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission (NJMVC) Mobile Service Unit will assist residents from 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. in parking lot at 6003 Voorhees Town Center, on the Somerdale Road side across from Osage Elementary School.Â

Voorhees Township Police Department hosts its 6th Citizens’ Police Academy. The participants will meet on most Thursday nights from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at police headquarters and off-site locations.

Animal Welfare Association events:
The Animal Welfare Association is now offering day camps on holidays and school breaks for children ages 7 to14. Each day will include educational games, creation of animal-related crafts and special guests, and peek behind the scenes of AWA.
