Join Moorestown Pride for a LGBTQIA+ Book Talk. 7-8:30 p.m. Moorestown Library. A selection of library books for teens and adults will be available for an open reading. This program is part of a monthly series of family gatherings, teen groups and support groups for the LGBTQIA+ community hosted by Moorestown Pride.

FRIDAY, Feb. 9

Friday Film: “Just Mercy.” 2-4:30 p.m. Moorestown Library. A powerful and thought-provoking true story, “Just Mercy” follows young lawyer Bryan Stevenson and his history-making battle for justice.

SATURDAY, Feb. 10

STEAM Time. 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Moorestown Library.

Lunar New Year. 10 a.m. to noon. Moorestown Library. For all ages. Visit stations to see and try traditional Asian arts, crafts, games and music performances, including calligraphy, paper-cut art, Chinese knotting, lantern-making, lantern riddles, Chinese characters water-tattoo, stamping art and more. Presented by MooreUnity, Better Together and members of the Chinese American Community.

Inspiring Craft Day. 1-2:30 p.m. Moorestown Library. Students ages 5-12 are welcome to join Inspiring Craft Day. Teen volunteers will help children create crafts with breast cancer patients in mind. These crafts will be delivered to local cancer centers along with goodie bags we will create at a later event. Register at www.moorestownlibrary.org.

Movie and Discussion: International Cinema Night with Michael – “Mystery Road.” 6:30-8 p.m. Moorestown Library. Attendees will enjoy old and contemporary movies from around the world, including but not limited to Europe, South America, Asia, the Middle East and Africa. All films are screened in their original language with English subtitles. Librarian Michael will offer a brief introduction and discussion before the screening. Alzheimer’s Caregiver Support Group. 7-8 p.m. Moorestown Library. The caregiver support group is for family and friends caring for a loved one with some type of dementia. The support group offers caregivers a place to share feelings and concerns, discuss challenges, and learn about available resources.
