Art Journaling with Dressler Smith: Adult seniors. 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Evesham Library. In this class, students will learn how to keep an art journal, how to transfer their creative ideas onto paper and how to incorporate engaging prompts along with fundamental art techniques. Some of these techniques will include blind contour drawing, the relationship of color and the use of varied media such as watercolors and collage. The theme of this class will focus on the seasons, and students will be encouraged to draw inspiration from their personal lives and experiences. No experience is necessary to join this class. Free rabies clinic: All residents. From 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Main Street Firehouse, 26 E. Main St. The township will host two free rabies vaccination clinics for 2024, the first on Saturday, Jan. 13 and the second on Saturday, Jan. 27. Residents can also license their pets with the township at these clinics. All residents must license their cats or dogs for 2024 before Jan. 31. Beginning Jan. 1, licensing is also available in person at the Evesham Township Clerk’s Office, located at 984 Tuckerton Rd. – Room 201, during normal business hours. Those interested bring proof of rabies vaccination with an expiration date after November 1, 2024 and proof of spaying/neutering information.
There is a $14 license fee per pet if proof is provided that the pet is spayed or neutered. There is a $17 license fee per pet if the pet is not spayed or neutered. Accepted forms of payment are cash or check.
