Students must be 5 years old on or before Oct. 1 to be eligible for kindergarten. Only the student’s legal guardian may register a student for school and it is not necessary for a child to be at registration. Allow one hour to complete the process and bring all required documentation with you for registration.

The school district is responsible for registering all students who reside in the district and will attend the following schools:

  • Cherry Hill public schools
  • Camden County vocational schools
  • State non-public schools
  • State charter schools
  • Interdistrict School Choice facilities

The registration process can be completed electronically or in person with an appointment. Documentation must be uploaded during the pre-registration process if the process will be done electronically.

To schedule an appointment for finalizing the process in person, call (856) 429-5600, ext. 4429. Details are on the registration page at https://www.chclc.org/domain/981.
