Township hosts rabies clinic

Moorestown will hold its annual free rabies clinic for dogs and cats on Saturday, Jan. 13, from 9 a.m. to noon, at the Public Works Garage, 601 East Third St., with a snow date of Saturday, Jan. 20.

Licenses will be sold at the clinic with payment by check only, no cash. All licenses expire on Jan. 31 every year and must be renewed by that time. Residents can get a 2024 license by mail (preferred) or in person at the municipal clerk’s office at town hall.

Residents must provide proof of rabies inoculation, which lasts through October; proof of spaying or neutering, if applicable; and a check made payable to the township with applications.

Include a self-addressed, stamped envelope if applying by mail. Dog license renewal applications and payment must be postmarked by Wednesday, Jan. 31. Renewals not postmarked by then will incur a late fee for each license.
