Engage Media spreads holiday cheer with Toys for Tots

Employees of Engage Media in Voorhees show some of the toys collected for children in the Marines’ Toys for Tots campaign.

A Voorhees company recently hosted a toy drive at its headquarters whose donations will benefit the Marine Toys for Tots drive.

Engage Media – a full-service, digital marketing company – is owned by CEO Ron Adams. His team, including Community Manager Lynne Cona, welcomed active-duty Marine Cpl. Denherder Aaron to the drive to hand off the dozens of donations for Toys for Tots.

In explaining his reason for the drive, Adams shared a personal connection.

“My brother is a Marine,” he said. “Toys for Tots has always been something so close to us as a family. I saw a recent news report saying that their bins are low this year, so I thought to myself and asked the team to do something about it. And they did a good job at buying things.”

Adams also addressed how the toy drive aligns with his company’s values and commitment to the Voorhees community.

“We are part of the community,” he explained, “and it’s very much a part of our values as a company. I don’t think those two parts are separate. It means so much to us as a group, and we should be providing as much as we can to the community.”

Engage Media team member Gina Villecco discussed the impact the company hopes to have on local families, emphasizing the joy brought to children.

“Every kid deserves a childhood, regardless of where they come from,” she observed. “I think this cause is all about innocence, the magic of the holidays, and bringing more joy to the world.”

Looking ahead, Adams and his team committed to making the toy drive an annual tradition to help families in need during the holiday season.
