High School students attending schools in Burlington County may submit up to three poems per entrant to [email protected] using “2023 High School Poetry Contest” in the subject line and including name, address, high school, grade and contact number. Residents of Burlington County over the age of 18 may submit up to three poems per entrant to [email protected] with “2023 Adult Poetry Contest” in the subject line, and including name, residential address and contact number. The Medford Township Council is extending an open invitation to residents interested in serving on the Township’s Planning Board, Zoning Board of Adjustment, Economic Development Commission, Green Team Advisory Committee and Environmental Affairs Advisory Committee to fill annual appointments beginning in January 2024.
The completed application, along with a brief cover letter and/or statement of qualifications to serve, must be submitted to the attention of the Township Manager’s Office, 49 Union Street, Medford, NJ 08055 or by e-mail to Dawn Bielec, Deputy Clerk and HR Coordinator ([email protected]) by Tuesday, Nov. 21. Medford Township is offering businesses and residents an opportunity to sponsor new banners for Main Street. This project originated with the Woman’s Club of Medford in 2015. Now, after eight years of proudly being displayed, it’s time to replace them. Each banner will include the name of the sponsor and will be attached to the light poles along Main Street.
