Those who are struggling with substance abuse and have been thinking about seeking help can do so at the Delran Township Police Department on Fridays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Donations are critical to the blood supply as the holiday season draws near – a time when blood donations often decline. Now is a great time to give again for those who haven’t donated blood in a while. It’s also the perfect time to try donating for the first time!

Friday, Dec. 1
Delran’s Winter Festival and Tree Lighting at 6 p.m., municipal building, 900 S. Chester Ave. The night will include a tree lighting, free pictures with Santa (he will arrive at 7 p.m. sharp), free crafts, food trucks and holiday music.
Delran Green Team
Delran Green Team meets the second Wednesday of the month at 7:30 in the Delran Municipal Building, 900 S. Chester Ave.
Delran Seniors Club
The Delran Seniors Club is a social club open to anyone 55+ from Delran and neighboring towns. Membership is $10 annually, with monthly meetings at the Knights of Columbus Hall on Bridgeboro Road in Delran.
The meetings begin at 1 p.m. on the second Tuesday of the month except for December. The club attempts to have speakers at each meeting to bring information relevant to “our
lives and needs.” A complete lunch is available for $7 at sign in.
Members enjoy two day trips a year. Our fall trip is on Oct. 24 to the Shore Club in Spring Lake to see a tribute to Frankie Vallie and the 4 Seasons. The spring trip will also be to the Shore Club on March 21 for St. Joseph’s Festival.
Dec. 7 is our annual Christmas Party (no meeting in December) from 5-9 p.m. For more information about the club call Betty Jewell at (609) 713-4440
Delran Historical Society
The Delran Historical Society meets on the third Tuesday of the month at the Delran Township Municipal Building located at 900 Chester Ave. The meetings are in Community Room 3 and start at 7 p.m. We frequently invite speakers to address the membership.
