Mullica Hill residents headed to the polls Nov. 7

Voters in Mullica Hill went to the polls on Nov. 7 and elected members of the committee, Harrison Township and Clearview boards of education (BOE).

The Gloucester County Clerk’s Office has posted results from the election on its website. All of the election results are unofficial and will remain unofficial until a vote counting process that could take more than a week has been completed.

The totals as of Nov. 8 do not include late mail-in ballots and provisional ballots, which are expected to be tallied later this week.

Two new candidates were vying for an open spot on the Harrison Township Committee. Republican candidate Kevin French leads with 2,085 votes as of Nov. 8. He ran against Democratic candidate Sarah Zuba who has earned 1,701 votes. There are seven write-in votes.

A seat was available on the Clearview BOE which went to candidate Sean Henderson who ran unopposed. He has earned 2,772 votes. There are 95 write-in votes.

In the Harrison Township School District BOE race, candidates were vying for three open seats. Incumbent candidates Shannon Williams, candidate Todd Baron, and candidate Janette Coslop lead with 2,282 votes, 1,780 votes, and 1,757, respectively. They ran against Colleen Kendrick who earned 1,715 votes and Brie Morettini, who has received 1,529 votes.

Each of the winning candidates will be sworn into their new positions in January.
