Curtis Thompson (above), a 2014 graduate of Florence Township Memorial High School, will compete in the javelin in Paris for his second Olympics. He represented Team USA in Tokyo in 2020. Medford is the hometown of Paxten Aaronson (right), who will compete in the Olympics for the first time with the U.S men’s soccer team.
