Moorestown voters headed to the polls on Nov. 7

Voters in Moorestown Township went to the polls on Nov. 7 and elected members of the board of education. The Burlington County Clerk’s Office has posted results from the election on its website. All of the election results are unofficial and will remain unofficial until a vote counting process that could take more than a week has been completed.

The totals as of Nov. 8 do not include late mail-in ballots and provisional ballots, which are expected to be tallied later this week.

Incumbent member Maurice “Mick” Weeks has received 3,107 votes as of Nov. 8; Marisa M. Cohen has received 2,448 votes as of Nov. 8; David C. Hoffman has received 1,946 votes as of Nov. 8; Incumbent Brooke Mailhiot has received 2,538 votes as of Nov. 8; and Jaclyn Barnes has received 3,196 votes as of Nov. 8.

There are 49 personal choice votes.

The township had also added a municipal question to the ballot regarding a 1959 law on family amusements at the Moorestown Mall. As of Nov. 8, there are 3,530 “yes” votes and 1,742 “no” votes.
