Deptford officials hosted the township’s annual Employee Wellness Week from Oct. 16 to 20, a time designated to emphasize employee health by promoting self-care in the workplace.
The Gloucester County EMT did a CPR demonstration, ShopRite provided free flu shots to employees and the police and fire departments held a safety presentation with helpful tips. Other activities included walking Bingo, scarecrow decorating and pumpkin painting.
Deptford also added a food drive to wellness week this year to collect canned goods for needy families.
